(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 7 - eBay donates over 300 thousand euros to the Italian Red Cross (CRI) and supports the new Italian online SMEs. The donation to CRI, he explains, "will allow the purchase of medical materials for the hospitals and Italian structures that need it most. This donation is added to the supplies supplied by eBay to Fondation de France in France and to MSF -Medicos Sin Fronteras in Spain, for a total of about 1 million euros ".
The eCommerce giant also offers new sellers online - increased with the closing of stores - also with discounts. They include 12 months free for the standard shop, 6 months free for the Premium shop and 3 months where no sales charge is applied. The company registered a + 40% of new professional sellers in March 2020 compared to March 2019. These new companies are in the provinces of Milan, Rome, Naples and Turin. The main sectors in which these new sellers operate see Home and Garden (28.5%) followed by Electronics (18.7%) and Clothing (16.1%).
