Coronavirus: Lindt gives hospitals 20,000 Easter eggs

(ANSA) - MILAN, 07 APR - Lindt Italia, a leading company in the production of chocolate, has decided to donate 20,000 chocolate eggs to some hospitals in Lombardy: Niguarda Hospital (Milan), Istituto Clinico Sant'Ambrogio (Milan), Cremona Hospital , Brescia Civil Hospital, Chiari Hospital, Desenzano Hospital and Bergamo Hospital.
The intent, as stated in a note, is to support "those who are in the forefront during the current health emergency, with the hope that they will bring relief and a little sweetness in this very difficult moment".
In addition, the company employees made a donation in favor of the Italian Red Cross, and the sum collected was tripled by Lindt.
"These activities put in place - Lindt explains - want to reinforce the message shared by the Italian Red Cross: 'We all try to transform this critical moment with the Time of Kindness, so that beyond the emergency intervention, we can find ways to always be next to them more fragile. '(ANSA).
