(ANSA) - LONDON, APRIL 7 - The British Ministry of Health has corrected the Guardian's calculation downwards by indicating a daily increase of 786 deaths in the entire Kingdom, up to an exact total of 6,159. While it limited the total number of infections to 55,242, with a growth curve stabilized around around 4000 per day.
However, the 786 additional deaths in 24 hours remain a record peak of coronavirus victims for the island and exceed the day's death toll of 743 other deaths indicated in Europe by Spain in absolute numbers.
