(ANSA) - PERUGIA, APRIL 7 - Lorena Antoniazzi donated about 200 masks produced in the Perugia headquarters of the company to the Municipality of Perugia. To collect them was the city councilor for Security and Civil Protection Luca Merli.
The masks will be used for the volunteers of the Municipal Civil Protection Group and for the employees who carry out the most exposed activities.
"We are happy to convert our work and put our professionalism at the service of the community in a difficult time - underlined Gianluca Mirabassi, president of Lorena Antoniazzi - and looking forward to being able to return to carry on our business, together with our collaborators, we have considered it important to give a contribution to those who courageously work every day to provide essential services ".
In recent days Lorena Antoniazzi had donated an altrostock of masks to the journalists of the Umbrian editorial offices.
The masks, made not for commercial purposes but exclusively to be donated, consist of two outer layers of stretch cotton fabric. The intermediate padding, with filtering function - explains the company -, is made up of three layers of non-woven fabric (TNT). The mask can be washed both dry and in water, at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees, and reused five times.
Sterne International, the company that produces the Lorena Antoniazzi brand, had already mobilized in the first days of the health emergency by promoting a fundraiser to support the intensive care and animation units of the Perugia hospital. (HANDLE).
