"It's an absolute horror," breathes Sarah, who sometimes has no more news from certain homeless people whom she knows well. “They no longer have enough to charge their phones and they become unreachable. We have lost track of some of them and we are very worried ”. In the midst of a coronavirus epidemic, it's hard not to think of the worst. "They have nothing. And above all, no masks to protect yourself a little, ”she laments.

So for several days, she has been moving heaven and earth to find masks, gel and gloves. After launching a cry for help on Twitter, an Ehpad manager answers him. He sends her 1,000 masks per package free of charge.

" It's better than nothing. And that will allow the volunteers of the associations still active in the field to continue to make marauders with protected noses and mouths and also to give them to the homeless, ”continues Sarah.

Since Monday afternoon, she has been traveling the streets of Paris with the box of masks received the same morning. A friend, Barbara, accompanies him, with a bag of several boxes of food gloves that she took from the stocks of her closed restaurant. “We scratch wherever we can. It's not much, but it's better than doing nothing. ”
