(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 08 - The workers of Tirreno Power, among the main electricity producers in Italy, donate their work now and the company multiplies this donation fifty times. Thus, more than 240,000 Euros were collected for interventions in the territories in which the company's headquarters are located to concretely bring support in the fight against Covid-19. With these funds, destined for healthcare, research and training, 12 respirators for intensive care and other medical material can be purchased for the hospitals of San Paolo di Savona, San Paolo of Civitavecchia and Cotugno of Naples. A contribution of 55 thousand euros was given to the Spallanzanidi Rome Institute for biological research on Covid 19.
Tirreno Power also contributes to Save The Children's "Non dasoli" program by supporting the association's projects in Liguria, Lazio and Campania. Thanks to the support of Tirreno Power, teaching material and support will be provided through educational activities and accompaniment to the online study for 160 children aged between 6 and 16 and material aid for 36 families in conditions of socio-economic fragility.
