A 29-year-old young man with no background disease in Corona is in serious condition at Assuta Ashdod Hospital. The hospital is said to be breathing and falling asleep, but his condition is stable and he is responding to treatment.

The hospital began conducting a clinical trial using the drug "Kabzera" which was reportedly effective in treating the disease in other cases around the world. 9 patients are expected to receive treatment in the Ashdod Assuta trial. Dr. Tal Brosh, director of the infectious disease department at the hospital: "We hope that the drug will prevent damage to the patient's lungs."

Another infection in a nursing home

Initial cases of Corona virus were detected last day at the Lebanese geriatric institution in Rishon Lezion. The seniors have not yet been evacuated, recalling that the Lod District Court dismissed three petitions against the evacuation filed by workers and family members.

On Tuesday, it was discovered that the resident of the place had contracted the virus, from an unknown infection source. On the eve of the holiday, three more seniors were added to the infectious circle after tests were started at the site. The first occupant was transferred to Assaf Harofe Hospital. Two others were sent to a proper medical institution in Jaffa. The fourth has not yet been transferred - as of this writing. The condition of the four is set to stable.

Family members who received the reports say the tenants are not likely to be infected - since for two weeks, visitors to the site have been barred. They assume that the infection was carried out by a staff member, or one of the contractors who worked there on behalf of the Ministry of Health, in training the structure for receiving Corona patients. Institutions noted that within 48 hours, all patients and staff will begin examinations.

On Monday, two doctors from the Bulgarian nursing home in Rishon Lezion died in Assaf. This is a 96-year-old woman and an 80-year-old man. The two join another 88-year-old resident who died Saturday. As a result, 30 tenants and ten crew members moved to isolation. Tests were carried out in the ward where the deceased were hospitalized and are currently awaiting a decision by the Ministry of Health to carry out tests for all tenants and staff.
