Disney +, 50 million subscribers worldwide

(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 09 - Thanks to its entertainment offer aimed at consumers all over the world, Disney + announces that it has reached a new milestone: 50 million subscribers globally in the first 5 months of its launch in the USA.
"We are truly honored that Disney + is appreciated by millions of people around the world, and we believe this is a good omen for our expansion across Western Europe, Japan and Latin America over the course of this year," said Kevin Mayer, Chairman of Walt Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International. Over the past two weeks, Disney + has debuted in eight Western European countries, including the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland. Additionally, Disney + has also been available in India since last week. Here, it is offered in conjunction with the existing streaming service, Hotstar, and already has about eight of the 50 million total Disney + subscribers. (HANDLE).
