Easter in the Coronavirus period in NRW: what is allowed and what is prohibited?

Easter: Can the family be visited despite the corona virus and a ban on contact?
Similar to Christmas, most people spend Easter with the family . Easter brunch, looking for eggs together and giving yourself chocolate bunnies - Easter is a family celebration. This year, however, it will look a little different.
Of course, Easter can be celebrated with the people who live in one household, but you should refrain from inviting friends and family . Even if there is still no ban on inviting people to their homes, the authorities are appealing to common sense.

Despite the corona virus: Easter eggs allowed
Out of solidarity and reason, Easter should not be done in large families. Especially with regard to the older relatives who are extremely at risk from the corona virus .
And even if the relatives do not visit this year, nobody has to do without egg hunt . In your own garden or in a leased allotment , eggs can be hidden and searched for without end. Similar provisions also apply to barbecues during the coronavirus crisis *.
However, if it is a shared garden of an apartment building , attention must be paid to the minimum distance from the other house residents. Otherwise nothing stands in the way of Easter egg fun .

Easter: visiting family members in nursing homes
For people living in old people's homes or nursing homes , the coronavirus crisis is bad in two ways. Not only that they are particularly at risk, as they are usually very old and in some cases also have previous illnesses . They are also currently not allowed to receive a visit .
Retirement and care homes in NRW should no longer be visited. Visits are only possible in urgent exceptional cases, said Prime Minister Armin Laschet in a press conference.
When visiting nursing homes or old people's homes, there is a high risk of infecting someone with the corona virus. The virus could spread like wildfire in a home.
Are Easter excursions allowed despite the corona virus?
At least nothing stands in the way of the Easter walk . Because exercise in the fresh air is not prohibited . However, you shouldn't be traveling with a large group - it shouldn't be more than two people.
Some popular excursion destinations are currently even blocked, because if you are outside, the minimum distance to other people must always be kept. If the weather is good and the destination is popular, it won't be easy in many places.

There is currently a strict entry ban in two federal states. Tourists or second home owners from other federal states are currently not allowed to enter Schleswig-Holstein or Mecklenburg-West Pomerania .

Holiday homes can be visited despite the coronavirus crisis - but not everywhere
That leaves only your own holiday home , because you can still visit it. However, using the holiday home for tourist purposes is prohibited.
However, if the holiday home is in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania or Schleswig-Holstein , entry is not possible. Even in Bavaria and Saxony , a trip to a second home - such as a holiday apartment - is not permitted.
Spend Easter holidays in another country during the coronavirus crisis
Use the Easter holidays and travel to another country - nice! But not this year. Due to the corona virus pandemic, travel restrictions are currently strict. And worldwide.
