Catalfo, tomorrow € 600 bonus at 1.8 million

(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 14 - "Tomorrow the payment of the bonus € 600 will start for over 1.8 million workers. It is an important and concrete signal that we give to those who, due to the Coronavirus emergency, are experiencing a moment of difficulty". So the minister of Labor, Nunzia Catalfo, in a joint note with INPS. "About 50% of applicants will receive compensation on their checking account on Wednesday 15 and all remaining files will close by the end of the week," he explains. "An enormous effort by the Institute and the workers who worked during the Easter weekend in order to support the country in this difficult phase and pay the allowances in the set times, rapidly compressed compared to ordinary services", underlines the president of INPS, Pasquale Tridico. On April 15th, allowances will be paid for over 1.8 million workers, 11% in favor of freelancers and collaborators, 67% of self-employed workers and 22% of agricultural workers.
