Chocolate cake makes difficult days easier. You knew that early on and developed recipes for times of crisis so that there was no shortage of chocolate cakes.

  • Many recipes can be modified so that they only need a few ingredients.
  • Simple recipes are particularly popular in times of crisis and with bargain hunters.
  • This chocolate cake is particularly unusual.

We haven't had a shortage on our supermarket shelves for a long time and when toilet paper, flour or yeast suddenly became scarce, there were hamster purchases * and bizarre scenes . Unfortunately, since times of war and crisis are nothing new in human history, there were resourceful hobby chefs who changed conventional recipes so that they can be served on the table even in times of shortage.

Crazy chocolate cake without eggs, milk or butter

Everyone has heard of such a recipe in the US and you might want to try it out. There are many different recipes for the so-called whacky cake , but they all do without eggs, milk or butter . For this, an ingredient is used that we do not know from cake recipes: vinegar.

Also delicious: this marble cake recipe makes your mouth water.

  • Now pour the water over all the ingredients and stir everything with a fork.
