(ANSA) - MILAN, APRIL 25 - It has been nearly 50 days since it recorded such a low number of new infected in Lombardy and the figure of only 713 new positive cases is even more encouraging because it obtained with 12,642 swabs. On March 6, 361 had been new positives, while the day after they had risen to 808 and then rapidly passed above the thousand and then two thousand positives per day.
The figures for Milan are improving, one of the cities still heavily affected by the coronavirus emergency: today there are 219 new positives in the metropolitan area, for a total of 17,909, of which 80 new cases in Milan city. Yesterday there had been 412 new employees including 246 in Milan city.
The deaths across the region are 13,269, with 163 new deaths, while yesterday they were 166. The drop in the number of beds occupied in both intensive care units (724, -32) and in the other wards continues (8489, -302).
