According to the indications contained in the Dpcm draft, public worksites will reopen across Italy tomorrow and private ones on May 4th. Then, gradually, parks, shops, restaurants. Without prejudice to the basic safety standards, the various categories are drawing up ad hoc protocols to guarantee the safety of staff and customers.
- BUILDING : production and industrial activities mainly devoted to exports will start tomorrow and construction sites for prisons, schools, health facilities, public housing and for the defense against hydrogeological instability. A protocol has been signed to the Ministry of Infrastructure which provides for a series of precautions: temperature measurement before access to the construction site, contingent access to canteens and changing rooms, daily cleaning and periodic sanitization of common areas. Tomorrow, the functional wholesale trade in the export and construction sectors will start again.
- PRIVATE CONSTRUCTION SITES: From May 4th all manufacturing activities, wholesale trade and private construction sites start. While waiting, it will be possible to prepare the work environments.
- TAKE AWAY - From 4 May it will be allowed to go to take away food, to be consumed at home or in the office.
- SPORT : individual motor activity can be restarted even away from home. From 4 May go-ahead also to training of professionals for individual disciplines. For team sports the orientation is to wait for 18.
- THE PARKS AND PUBLIC GARDENS: they will reopen on May 4th. The orientation is to allow a very limited number of people to stay outdoors if they are members of the same family. The areas for children will remain closed.
- STORES AND HAIRDRESSERS: The retail trade will restart on the 18th. The objective is to avoid peak times, providing for different openings and closings between the various activities. Hairdressers and beauticians will have to wait for June 1st.
- RESTAURANTS AND MUSEUMS: The museums reopen on May 18th. The right date for restaurants should be June 1st. The Italian Federation of Public Exercises has approved a protocol that provides: one meter of distance between the tables, differentiated entrance and exit doors, preferably digital payments at the table, cleaning and sanitization.
- PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The diversified opening and closing times of the activities will require a remodeling of the public service, which in any case will have to be enhanced during peak hours. The guidelines for the study also provide for: thermal scanners in all stations and airports, obligation on all means of transport (from trains to ships, from planes to buses and metro), passenger spacing, masks, increasingly electronic tickets, access to stations and airports
- MOVEMENTS: from 4 May it will be possible to visit relatives, but family reunions will not be allowed. The decision on self-certification for travel in the municipality is still at stake. The prohibition to move outside the region remains, "except for proven work needs, of absolute urgency or for health reasons"
- FUNERALS: no go-ahead for masses. From 4 May funerals will be allowed, but with the only presence of the deceased's family members, for a maximum of 15 people.
- SCHOOL: Students will not return to school until September. The government is working to define how to get state exams done "in attendance, but in complete safety".
- REGIONS: some regions, meanwhile, do it themselves. In Lombardy, the uncovered food markets can reopen on Wednesday, the Veneto and the Marches allow takeaways for food, while in Tuscany from tomorrow the companies of the textile districts, in particular that of Prato, can reopen for the maintenance of machinery. In Friuli Venezia Giulia, from tomorrow, in addition to the take away, you can leave your home for sports activities and maintenance work on the boats will be possible. In Liguria, go ahead tomorrow with takeaway food, children's clothing stores, pet grooming.
