(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 26 - After five consecutive days the drop in coronavirus patients in Italy is confirmed. There are currently 106,103 positive figures, 256 more than yesterday.
On Saturday there had been a drop of 680 patients. The data was provided by the Civil Protection. As for the healed, however, the figure is 64,928 with an increase compared to Saturday of 1,808. Yesterday's increase had been 2,622 healed. The downward trend in ICU hospitalizations continues. There are 2,009 today, 93 less than yesterday. Of these, 706 are in Lombardy, 18 fewer than yesterday. Of the 106,103 sick people, 21,372 are hospitalized with symptoms, 161 less than yesterday, and 82,722 are those in home isolation, 510 more than yesterday.
The victims rose to 26,644, an increase of 260 in one day. It is the lowest figure recorded for over 40 days: on March 15, in fact, there were 368 deaths in 24 hours while the day before it was 175. Yesterday the increase had been 415.
