Brad Pitt scoffs at the "advice" from Trump against the coronavirus

2020-04-27T18:41:36.333Z

Brad Pitt participated in "Saturday Night Live" with a parody of Dr. Anthony Fauci and mocked Donald Trump and his statements about COVID-19.

A few days ago, Brad Pitt became a trend on social networks after making the noble gesture he had with Jean Black , his longtime friend and makeup artist.

Now, the 56-year-old actor has caused a stir on the Internet again by making an epic participation in the "Saturday Night Live" program, playing Dr. Anthony Fauci , director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Pitt hosted the show with a parody of  Donald Trump and his controversial statements about how to fight COVID-19.

Wearing glasses, a suit and a tie, Brad went on screen and started his monologue. "Good evening, this is Dr. Anthony Fauci," he said.

"First, I would like to thank all the older women in the United States who have sent me supportive, inspirational and sometimes graphic emails," she added.

The protagonist of "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" humorously resumed the president's statements in which he assured that the disease could be treated by injecting disinfectant.

The celebrity asked that everyone keep "an open mind" and proceeded to show a series of videos of Trump talking about the pandemic.

In the first, the president assured that they would have a vaccine "relatively soon". "Relatively soon it's an interesting phrase," said the actor. "Relative to the entire history of Earth? Sure, the vaccine will come very quickly. But if you were to tell a friend, 'I'll be there relatively soon' and then show up a year and a half later, well, your friend might be relatively angry. "Brad commented.

The following video, Donald Trump said that the virus would miraculously disappear. "A miracle would be great! Who doesn't love miracles? But miracles shouldn't be Plan A," added the Oscar nominee.

"Even Captain 'Sully' Sullenberger, the pilot who landed on the Hudson River saving 155 lives, tried to land at the airport first," he continued.

Finally, Angelina Jolie's ex launched a harsh criticism of the politician. "When I hear things like the virus can be cured if everyone does the Tide Pod Challenge , I'll be there to say, 'please don't do it.'"

Before wrapping up his parody, Brad Pitt took off his wig and glasses to send a message to the tuning audience.

"To the real Dr. Fauci, thank you for your calm and clarity at this confusing moment. And thanks to the restrooms and their families for being on the front line," he said seriously.
