The renegotiation of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti loans starts on 6 May. Around 7,200 local authorities will thus be able to access up to 1.4 billion euros of resources to be used immediately on the territory. The operation "will make it possible to free up resources to manage the emergency phase that the country is experiencing", observes the CEO of Cdp, Fabrizio Palermo, underlining that it is "an initiative never taken before in such a widespread form". Are a total of 135,000 mortgages renegotiable from Municipalities, Provinces, Cities? subways, unions of municipalities, communities? Montane, Regions and Autonomous Provinces. Cdp will put? the list of original loans is available to each local authority - during the period of accession, which runs from 6 to 27 May 2020, making the relative economic conditions for renegotiation known in a section of the Local Authorities and Public Administration Portal of its internal site. Also on the website, the preliminary and contractual procedure can be fully finalized. Online courses will be dedicated to administrators and financial services managers of local authorities to support them in practice. Organized on a territorial basis, they will start from 30 April in collaboration with the ANCI (National Association of Italian Municipalities), Ifel (Institute for Finance and Local Economy) and Upi (Union of the Provinces of Italy). The webinars will focus, in particular, on the documentary aspects and on the terms of joining the operation. This operation for the Cassa "confirms the historical link with the territories and relaunches its role as a key partner of the Public Administration".
