"I have a lot of faith, and I hope that our position can be clarified and that we can get out of this situation shortly. The first thing I will do is kiss my mother who, since the beginning of this Covid-19 pandemic, has been experiencing difficult days. "

Ronaldinho then reiterates that he went to Paraguay "for two promotional events - he explains -, the launch of an online casino and that of a book. These agreements were made by my brother (arrested with him ed), who is also my agent" . "All my life I have tried to give people a smile - says Ronaldinho again - and to reach the highest level in football, and I never thought of finding myself in such a situation: it was hard. I was very surprised when they told me that my documents were false, and since it happened we have done nothing but collaborate with the investigators ". In prison, the affection that all the other inmates showed him comforted him. "Everyone wanted to play football with me," he said, "or have an autograph or photo taken.
