The number of people in Corona on Monday (15) stands at 15,555, an increase of 113 people in the last day. This is a continuation of the downward trend in the number of infections: If last week between 200 and 300 infections were added, this week the number is between 100 and 200. The number of daily recoverers is 4 times the number of people infected: 469 recovered in the last day, and a total of 7,200 since the beginning of the epidemic.

There is stability in the number of respiratory patients and in the number of severely ill patients: According to the Ministry of Health, there are currently 126 severely ill patients, of whom 96 are respirators (of which 6 are chronic and four are also connected to a heart-lung-acu device).

The death toll from Corona is set to increase to 204 tonight, an increase of three in the last day, including an 82-year-old man who died in the affairs of salvation and a 90-year-old resident of the Amal Hasharon nursing home in Raanana, who died at Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.

Only 362 patients are currently hospitalized, compared to 750 just two weeks ago. Against this backdrop, some hospitals closed Corona wards. 5,190 patients are hospitalized and 1,756 are in hotels.
