Additions for the beta of "Valorant" are currently very popular. These are distributed via Twitch-Drops - but that calls fake streamers on the scene.

  • Riot Games presented the next potential hype game with "Valorant".
  • The tactical shooter is currently still in the beta phase and the entrances are in great demand.
  • These are currently only available via Twitch drops, but some streamers take advantage of this.

With "League of Legends" Riot Games has launched one of the most popular multiplayer games in recent years. The latest game from the studio "Valorant" has triggered a real hype since the start of the beta phase. The accesses for the tactical shooter are currently only available via Twitch-Drops. If you want to get one, you have to watch a streamer playing "Valorant" and with a little luck a beta key will land in the inbox. But the high demand for the entrances also calls swindlers onto the scene.

"Valorant": Dodgers pretend Twitch livestreams

As reported by My MMO, many Twitch streamers take advantage of the fact that a lot of viewers are currently watching a "Valorant *" stream because they hope for a Twitch drop. For this reason, they broadcast their games daily for several hours. But among the streamers there are also swindlers who assure in their video title that they are live , but in reality they only keep recordings  running. As a result, they promise numerous viewers that they can tap into without actually being live.

Now that some well-known streamers have complained, Twitch has now responded and adjusted the community guidelines accordingly.

Twitch punishes dizziness streamers

As of now, such fraudulent attempts that affect the drop system fall under the category "spam, fraud and other malicious behavior". Anyone who is guilty of this must expect a ban . If Twitch interprets the punishment mildly, it could initially only take 24 hours. But more serious crimes are also to be punished with longer bans - even with well-known streamers.
