(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, MAY 1 - Democratic candidate Joe Biden in the White House denies the accusation of sexual abuse brought to him by Tara Reade, his collaborator in the nineties when he was senator of Delaware. "These accusations are not true.
It never happened," former vice president Biden said in a statement. With his dry denial Biden has broken a month's disenchantment since his former collaborator Tara Reade gave him the accusation of assaulting her sexually in 1993.
Biden said that Reade's then supervisor and former officials in his office "said, unequivocally, that the woman never came to them, complained or raised problems."
