"As a government, we are doing all we can for those citizens who want to restart after they have had to temporarily stop their activity" due to the coronavirus emergency. This was stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Policies, Nunzia Catalfo, in a video on Facebook for May 1st, remembering some numbers. For domestic workers and carers, bonuses from 400 to 600 euros  - "For domestic workers and carers, we think of an unprecedented tool that varies according to the hours worked, more suitable than the layoffs for these workers who often have even more than one employer. work-family. In the presence of a 25% reduction in hours, compensation for those under 20 hours of work will be provided for 400 euros per month and for those over 600 ", says the Minister of Labor, Nunzia Catalfo, in interview on Repubblica.it in which he explains that "a question with simple self-certification will be enough".
