This is a series of failures, reported here earlier this month. In exclusive evidence, hotel guests said they were served spoiled food, which included "rotten vegetables and beans with mold." The guests also complained that the hotel does not turn on heating at night or air conditioning on the day, which was answered by the hotel as a fault that was corrected according to them.

Already, the Ministry of Defense has begun examining the extension of the contract to several recovering hotels, most notably the Prima Palace Hotel, on which complaints from guests have accumulated. It has been decided in recent days not to extend the contract. The Ministry of Defense did not formally state the reason, but Israel Today learned that the reason is the failure to meet the tender conditions.

"Once a week, make salads, and you get the same vegetables for the week until they break down," said Esther, who recovered from Corona at the hotel. "The nights are frozen. I sleep with three blankets and the last days during the day it gets hot too," she added.

The guests also complained of bad attitude from the hotel staff, which completely ignored the calls made to reception and should be answered. "You can also wait 20 minutes and not be answered. Under these conditions, a healthy person who comes in here comes out weak and sick," she added. "I feel like in prison. With punishment. There's nowhere to go and no one to talk to."

Jonathan, another recoverer from the hotel, added: "We live here like cats in the garbage can. I am in shock from the state. I fight to get out of here at all costs. There are people here who are recovering from a hospital and need reasonable conditions, older people who need medication and the place does not provide them with drugs and Reasonable food. "

The Prima Palace Hotel said: "Upon the conclusion of our agreement, the Ministry of Defense acted in accordance with its considerations and needs and ended its use of the hotel."

The Defense Ministry said in response: "The operating contract with all Corona hotel hotels has been signed for a period of one month, with an option to extend for another period (in whole or in part). At the end of the first operating period, the Ministry of Defense decided not to exercise the extension option with some houses. Hotel, including the Prima Palace Hotel. "
