The head of the ACA, Maj. Gen. Moti Almoz, decided to cancel the military dancers' profession, after being exposed to a performance by Noa Kirl and the dancers in Zarifin, military correspondent Tzahi Dabush says.

Last week, Kirl's first show at the Zrifin Base was unveiled, alongside two dancers. As first published in Israel Today, these are professional dancers recruited into the Education Corps and their job is to accompany Margie, Kirl and military bands in choreography. Now, it turns out, the new profession has already been abolished.

Last week, the first record of the dancers who received controversial comments was released. "If you thought that what you were doing in the army was a boon, get the world's strongest military dancers," wrote network star Yevgeny Zarobinsky. "I used to think that every job respected its owners - I was wrong," another surfer wrote.

Following the reactions and exposure, it was decided to cancel the role and it appears that the four dancers serving in the section will have to find a new role.

On behalf of Noa Kirl stated in response: "Noa Kirl is an IDF soldier and acts according to the instructions and orders required of her in her role."

The IDF spokesman said: "It was decided by Rabbi Akha to cancel the profession of military dancers."
