80 insects can be caught in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. However, not in every season. We reveal when which insect appears.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons , players can spend their time doing all kinds of activities. Be it creating a garden with a flower bed, looking for fossils on the island or catching insects with the landing net. The latter takes a particularly long time. Because the Nintendo Switch game has 80 species of insects to offer. However, these only appear at certain times of the year and time, depending on whether the players are in the northern hemisphere or southern hemisphere.

We have a list of all insects in "Animal Crossing: New Horizons *" together with the time and their value in a table. We also marked the insects that players can catch in May  with an "*".
