Update of April 21, 2020 : Razer is now taking the first step and donating 5,000 respiratory masks to the Hamburg authority for health and consumer protection free of charge for medical care. The masks are said to be a support in the fight against the ongoing corona pandemic .

The company announced in March that it would switch the development of keyboards, mice and gaming accessories to the production of respiratory masks and ship up to  one million masks to healthcare companies worldwide. 

"Health care workers are one of the most important pillars of our society and are doing an outstanding job in the current corona crisis," said Marco Chillon, general manager at Razer Europe. "There is still a high need for protective masks.
