(ANSA) - BOLOGNA, MAY 04 - Resources made available to the community, in the fight against coronavirus, for 3 million. The amount set aside by the Bper banking group thanks to an internal fundraising campaign called 'United beyond expectations ", the proceeds of which reached 2.4 million, and to donations released in recent weeks.
The 'United beyond expectations' project, explains a note from Bper, saw the participation of the various components of the institute: top management and top management evolved a portion of the variable remuneration referring to 2019; the chairman and members of the board of directors decided to reduce their salaries while staff were invited to contribute to the voluntary subase initiative, choosing to donate vacation days or a part of their salary. The amount collected was then doubled by the institute.
The resources collected are intended to support scientific research and health care, to help families and to counter new poverty, to contributions for the emergency education and distance learning. The projects to be supported will be divided into national, territorial and local, based on their value and specificity. (HANDLE).
