Everyone should be able to prepare scrambled eggs. The dish is quick and easy with just a few ingredients. But the perfect recipe is debated.
Opinions differ on the correct preparation of scrambled eggs. Purists actually only open the eggs, others add milk or cream, others still do not eat the quick dish without vegetables, herbs or meat.
Sea urchin replacement wanted
The British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has a particularly prepare peculiar way, scrambled eggs and behind it, according popsugar.com a touching story :
"After completing my apprenticeship in London, I wanted to be French, so I went to the birthplace of fine dining. I remember seeing this amazing dish of scrambled eggs and sea urchins. I tasted the sea urchins through the scrambled eggs. That was off. I had never tried scrambled eggs with sea urchins. The texture was just incredible. It made it so much creamier. I wondered what an average person at home could do to make such scrambled eggs - and I came up with crème fraîche. "
