It will take a few months until "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" is released. But with the unveiling and a first trailer Ubisoft aroused the anticipation among the fans. The new title takes us to Scandinavia and England. The players take on the role of Viking Eivor. "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" will appear in different editions. We explain the differences in the following section.

"Assassin's Creed" Valhalla standard and gold edition

Pre-orderers of "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" will receive the additional mission "The Way of the Berserk". It doesn't matter which edition is pre-ordered.

Whoever chooses the Standard Edition does not get any additional content apart from the main game. In return, it is available for the cheapest release price of around 60 euros.

Players have to dig a little deeper into their pockets for the Gold Edition - they can be bought for around 100 euros. In addition to the main game, it also includes the Season Pass. This gives players access to additional content that will be available after the release. According to the Ubisoft store, there will be new regions and equipment to discover here.

"Assassin's Creed" Valhalla Ultimate Edition

Pre-orderers of the Ultimate Edition will receive a discount of 10 euros in addition to the additional mission. The discounted price is around 110 euros. In addition to the main game and the season pass, the Ultimate Edition also includes additional equipment and settlement items. There are also new rune embellishments and the berserk longship pack.

"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Collector's Edition

The Collector's Edition should be interesting for collectors among the "Assassin's Creed" fans . This costs an impressive 200 euros, but it offers a high-quality 30 cm high figure from Eivor. In addition, it includes an exclusive steel book, artworks, soundtracks, a small Viking statuette, three lithographs with concept drawings and a numbered certificate of authenticity from the Collector's Edition.

In addition to popular online shops, the game can also be pre-ordered in the official Ubisoft store.

"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" also appears on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Ubisoft has confirmed that Valhalla will be available in addition to PC  for the current PS4  and Xbox One consoles as well as for the PS5 * and Xbox Series X * next-gen consoles. However, the next-gen editions cannot currently be pre-ordered. An exact release date for "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" has not yet been fixed, but the game is scheduled to be released at Christmas 2020 .
