The Government confirmed on Tuesday two new deaths from coronavirus in Argentina, making 262 fatalities in the country as a result of the pandemic.
Out of a total of 4,887 confirmed positive cases, the virus case fatality rate is 5.8% , with an average age among victims of 75 years.
This was reported by the Ministry of Health in the daily press report, which also specified that the rate of contagion is 10.8 people per 100,000 inhabitants.
The Secretary of Access to Health, Carla Vizzotti, highlighted that there are 148 patients hospitalized in intensive care units, which remains below 5% of the total confirmed cases.
