In March two out of three flights were canceled (66.3%) and passengers decreased by 85% (from about 14 million to just over 2 million) compared to the same month last year. The data was released today by Istat.
From just under 460 thousand passengers arriving and departing at Italian airports on Sunday 23 February 2020, the number has increased to 6.8 thousand on Sunday 29 March.
