Vanessa Bryant celebrates her 38th birthday without the love of her life, but Kobe Bryant's widow found a beautiful surprise that he left her before he died.

This May 5 is a bittersweet day for Vanessa Bryant as she is celebrating her 38th birthday, but for the first time in a long time, she will pass the special date without the man who was her husband for over 18 years.

In fact, in the middle of the past, she remembered Kobe Bryant on the day they would have celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary, and dedicated a heartwarming message to her through her social profile.

Now, although he is no longer physically with his family, he will be present to brighten Vanessa's occasion, fulfilling a beautiful birthday wish.

Kobe's widow explained on Instagram that, yesterday, she found a fantastic surprise at her home: an envelope labeled with the caption "To: The love of my life. From: Your daddy."

"I hoped to open one more letter on my birthday. It gave me another reason to wait for the day to come," said Vanessa, who immediately confessed to people that both her husband and daughter still need it.

"Missing the love of my life and my sweet Mamacita - my fellow Taurus," Bryant said, referring to the fact that she and Gianna were both born in May under the same zodiac sign.

On May 1, Vanessa dedicated an emotional message to Gigi, on the day that would have been her 14th birthday.

Although the duel has not been left behind, Bryant is sheltered by the love of Natalia , Bianka and Capri , his other three daughters.

"Thankful for waking up today with my three sweet girls," she added in her birthday message, and I assure you that I wish the six of you could have been together.

Through Instagram, many people are sending love and congratulations to Vanessa, including Sharia Washington , sister of Kobe Bryant.

In her Stories , the woman who recently debuted a tattoo in honor of Kobe and Gianna posted a photo next to her sister-in-law and wished her a happy birthday.

It was on January 26 when, in a terrible accident, the helicopter in which Kobe and Gianna Bryant were traveling, along with seven other people, crashed in the city of Calabasas, California, with no survivors.

Three days passed before Vanessa Bryant broke the silence and spoke of the great loss her family had suffered, and has repeatedly said that her "brain refuses to accept that Kobe and Gigi are gone."

Little by little, Vanessa has found a certain consolation, thanks to the fruit of the intense love that she lived with Kobe, and on her social networks she has shared several important moments with her three girls.

Last month, for example, the four Bryant girls celebrated their first Easter without Kobe and Gianna, and then Vanessa celebrated Capri's 10 months with a beautiful photo that shows how much the smallest in the house has grown.

Without a doubt, everyday life has completely changed for them, but thanks to the love they have and that people show them through various means, Vanessa and her daughters can smile on a day like today.
