DRAMA. Happy Birthday Mom
At 9 p.m. on Canal +. Children run happily under the foliage of the park of a house whose wide open gate will not be long in letting in other guests. It is the home of Andréa, the matriarch, who invited her two sons, Vincent and Romain, to celebrate her birthday. Vincent is already there, who takes care of the exterior decoration but the weather threatens. It was at this point that Claire, Andrea's third child, of whom no one had heard from for three years, appeared: she was stranded on the road a few kilometers away. The young woman also brings the storm ...
Romain, accompanied by his new conquest, set out to film this reunion which promises to be epic. Under the camera of Cédric Kahn ("Roberto Succo", "Prayer" ...), also a screenwriter and who seems to have, too bad if we are wrong, good reasons to master his subject, this is one of the best films on this pleonasm which is the family psychodrama. Catherine Deneuve is the treble clef and the discreet conductor by the naturalness that she nevertheless manages to instill in the cooking of this rise in tension with irresistible accents, sometimes, of comedy.
The whole is structured by a set of actors that borders on the best. In the role of Claire, steeped in craters and a dull rage that flirts with madness, Emmanuelle makes an impressive copy. As a lost, destitute and desperate lunar lost, Vincent Macaigne, unable to inhabit the same land as the others, explodes his lymphatic trademark which ended up being frankly annoying. If one can be surprised by a finish that is a little too radical and offbeat in its form, this “Family celebration” is an excellent, not to say virtuoso cinema moment that it would be a shame to miss.

DOCUMENTARY. Women are in the meadow
At 8.50 p.m. on France 5. Amandine, Amélie, Cécile and Justine, four women, all farmers. "Back to Earth" tells of their choice to devote themselves to their passion. Touching, authentic and captivating. Wine, wheat, orchards ... They want to overturn the codes of agriculture to turn to a more organic, more eco-friendly use of their farms. Not easy when for generations, chemicals prevailed. Whether in the Beauce, in the Hérault or in the Vaucluse, these farmers face economic and climatic difficulties, as well as inheritance issues. The rain which does not fall, the earth which dries up, the arrears which accumulate. With great humanity and sincerity this documentary shows that becoming a farmer is not easy. A profession of passion, of transmission, that of a lifetime. With tact, director Alexandra Riguet thus lifts the veil on the masculinity that is too often attributed to this profession.

At 9:15 pm on C 8. “It was the best of the best. This is how Philippe Gildas describes the crazy duo Antoine de Caunes-José Garcia, who dynamited the set of "Nowhere Else" in the 1990s. Together, they symbolized the best (and the worst) of the mind Channel. Twenty years later, their sketches are still as funny. So much so that C 8 decided to rebroadcast a compilation of their best performances. We never tire of finding the disfigured mouth of Didier l'Embrouille who lands on the Croisette, the patched-up glasses of Ouin-Ouin, said Oyster Pine, the valves of Péteur Pan… So many cult characters, composed with the pen by Laurent Chalumeau. There are characters who do not age.

FANTASTIC. When Harry meets Voldemort
At 9:05 p.m. on TF1. It is probably not the best "Harry Potter", but this fourth part of the saga remains decisive. The young hero, who is now 14 years old, finally faces his worst enemy, the big bad Voldemort. In this episode, Hogwarts hosts the Three Wizards tournament. The winner will win the cup and eternal glory. Dragons, mermaids and other extraordinary creatures punctuate this section where the little wizard with round glasses appears adolescent, with all the problems that go with it. Also note the presence of French actress Clémence Poésy and a very young Robert Pattinson, future star of "Twilight".

ADVENTURES. Of a Z which means…
At 9:05 p.m. on NRJ12. First, the snapping of the boots and spurs. Zorro is not yet in the image that he is already haunting her. Arrive the cape, the hat and the point of the sword, which bursts the screen of a fiery Z, as James Bond punches each credits with a shot of his Beretta. Insolent, twirling and attractive, the masked vigilante has something of 007 in his adventures brought to the screen in 1998. Antonio Banderas takes up the black wolf in this "Mask of Zorro" imagining the passing of the torch between a Don Diego of the Aging Vega (Anthony Hopkins) and a big-hearted robber (Banderas). Packed with stunts, the film pays for the luxury of surpassing itself with a scene… of tango, a parade of ultimate seduction between Banderas and Zeta-Jones.
