A man from the UK recently received a package delivery from Hermes. When he tried to get his parcel, however, it disappeared ...
- The Hermes parcel of a man mysteriously disappears from his driveway.
- Thanks to surveillance recordings, he can solve the puzzle.
- However, it seems unlikely that he will get his package back.
Due to the corona pandemic, people are currently ordering as much on the Internet as is not even the case before Christmas. The parcel services warn of delays in delivery - and to keep the distance to the customer, no signature from the recipient is currently required. On the one hand, this speeds up delivery, on the other hand, it can happen that the parcel is lost on the last meter. A man from Great Britain has now personally experienced how this can work out.
Hermes package stolen from driveway - surveillance recordings reveal the culprit
On April 29, 2020, Martin H. received a notification at 8:30 p.m. that his parcel had been delivered by the Hermes messenger. When he went to work the next day, however, his order was nowhere to be seen. How good that the Briton installed a surveillance camera * - because what he discovered there, he probably could not have imagined in his wildest dreams. " He definitely delivered it, " he later said in a Facebook post.
In fact, the package can be seen in the pictures on the property, directly behind the entrance. But how did it get out of there? The answer shows up at a late hour: Around 0.50 in the morning a small thief sneaks up to the package - the culprit is actually a fox .
First he sniffs the package curiously and then knocks it over. The four-legged friend withdraws briefly - and then decides to pull his treasure with his teeth. However, the stolen person does not want to reveal what was in the parcel. When asked by a user, he only reacts with a shrug.
