The report of the Ministry of Health of the Nation of this Wednesday indicated that there are 188 new infected by coronavirus in Argentina and that in the last 24 hours 9 people died.

During the morning it was known that 50.3% of the total cases are women and 49.7% are men. While the main affected age groups correspond to people between 20 and 59 years old, with an average age of 42 years.

It was also reported that 2,597 new samples were carried out on Tuesday and since the start of the outbreak 72,315 diagnostic tests were carried out for this disease, which is equivalent to 1,593.7 samples per million inhabitants.

A few days after the national government resolves the continuation of the mandatory isolation due to the coronavirus that ends next Monday, the Minister of Health, Ginés González García, assured that there should be an economic opening, although he warned that the health part should be reinforced.

"I am not the one who decides, but my opinion is that the quarantine must continue but with other forms. It must have an opening in economic terms, with great care. But the productive activity has to start. There are many industries that are operating very well, like the food, the pharmaceutical, "explained the official.

In turn, the minister assured that at the time of leaving it will be necessary to do "the same thing that we did about caring at home", such as maintaining social distance, using a mask and now we will have to "avoid crowds" and if possible "transport public . " This last aspect is the one that most worries the official.

"There are studies that show that in New York and Madrid transport was a vehicle for the explosion of cases they had , in that sense it can never stop being attended to," he admitted.

"We have to adapt without losing what has been achieved, that we have a very low number of cases, that we have been successfully managing the pandemic. But that does not mean that we are celebrating victory," he added.
