(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 06 - Enel closed the first quarter with a Group net result of 1.277 billion (-0.7%) and ordinary net profit of 1.281 billion (+ 10.5%). Revenues amounted to 19.985 billion, down 12.2%. You can read it in the note released at the end of the board of directors which approved the results of the first three months.
The financial effects linked to the Covid 19 crisis have been "limited" on Enel's first quarter results. The CEO of the Alberto De Paoli Group had said it, stressing that "the Group's integrated model offered operational protection".
De Paoli explained that 37,500 employees (55%) are currently working remotely, with an "unchanged level of efficiency". In addition, as part of the holiday bank initiative, the employees donated 20,999 days and the company 29,700. In addition, top management will donate 15% of this year's remuneration. (HANDLE).
