(ANSA) - WARSAW, MAY 6 - Poland's presidential elections scheduled for Sunday May 10 have been postponed for a later date. The chief of the PiS Alpine Party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, and his ally Jaroslaw Gowin announced this in a joint statement. The date and recourse to the vote for correspondence had been contested by the opposition in the fear of fraud. The lower house president will announce the "first possible date" for the vote, the two leaders on Twitter reported.
