Water polo, Rudic leaves Pro Recco: 'I will not train anymore'

Ratko Rudic leaves Pro Recco and water polo, at least on the bench. The coach, who was also coach of the Italian national team, decided on the verge of 72 years to end his long adventure in Bordovasca, greeting the Ligurian club. "The decision to end my career as a coach came before the Coronavirus emergency broke out - the words of Rudic made known by the champion club of Recco - and I communicated it to President Felugo.
    I wanted to end my career with a great result and make myself available to society in another role to contribute to the realization of the project. Certainly many things have changed with the pandemic, the future is uncertain and we will see how the activity will be organized ".
