British singer celebrated 32 and uploaded a photo of herself minus 45kg • Twitter reporter: "If it comes from denial and submission it's alarming"

Since divorcing over a year ago, Adele has put herself in a strict diet and fitness regimen, which has so far led to a loss of about 45 pounds from her weight. 

Known for her huge voice and meteoric musical success, the singer has for years been a model for women with a fuller cut and has never been ashamed of her body size.

 April 2019 divorced Simon Conkey after 3 years of marriage, and reportedly then began adopting a strict diet regimen and fitness training, leading to a drastic weight loss of about 45 pounds. 

The media and fans did not know their excitement and flooded the networks with countless frivolous reactions that praised her fiery new cut. 

Today (Wednesday), Adele posted a photo to mark her 32nd birthday, which she celebrated yesterday, showing a particularly slim cut, wearing a tight black mini dress that emphasizes a particularly narrow waistline.

"Thank you everyone for all the love for a birthday," she wrote below the photo. "I hope you all stay sane and safe during this crazy time. I want to thank all those at the forefront of us while risking their lives. You are angels. 2020 Okay," the post concluded. 

In less than an hour, the image managed to garner more than a million likes with tens of thousands of fan-friendly comments: "Amazing," "Hot," "It's Crazy," and "Congratulations on the new cut, it's unbelievable," fans and many, including a calculator post Oprah Winfrey magazine's official Instagram, inquired about whether the photo release hints at new music on its part any time soon. 

The fan reactions were well summed up by good friend Chrissy Teigen, who was among the first to respond to the picture and wrote: "Come on, you are kidding me." 

While most of the reactions praised the weight loss and fiery cut of Adele, which was revealed at various stages of the diet, there were also surfers who emphasized that she admired her in her previous cut as well, and that she thought she looked and sounded wonderful no matter how much she weighed.  

The critical voices were well summarized on journalist Twitter and editor Aby Ayers: "Everyone loves a good Cinderella story, and if this is Adele's real cut - it's wonderful and I'm totally in favor. If it comes from denial and submission, it's alarming and problematic."
