Coronavirus in Argentina: 9 dead and 163 new cases reported in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health of the Nation confirmed this Thursday another 9 deaths and 163 new positive cases of coronavirus in Argentina, according to the evening report of the health portfolio.

With this number, there are 282 deaths and 5,371 infected since the beginning of the pandemic.

The last fatal victims are six men - four of 85, 73, 77 and 83 years from the province of Buenos Aires, one from 63 from Santa Fe and another from 60 from CABA-, and three women -two from 86 and 88 from the Province and one of 94 of the City-.

Regarding the new cases, 77 belong to the City of Buenos Aires, 50 to the Province, 26 to Chaco, four to Córdoba, three to Río Negro and one to La Rioja, Corrientes and San Juan.

A new balance is known at a time when the national government defines how the quarantine will continue from next Monday, when a new, more flexible stage would begin .

Most of the cases are concentrated in two districts: City and province of Buenos Aires . Meanwhile, Chaco and Córdoba exceeded 300 infected, while Río Negro and Santa Fe are above 200 and Tierra del Fuego and Neuquén exceed 100.

However, in several provinces they do not even reach ten patients, so they will begin to allow more activities from next week. Those are the cases of districts like Jujuy and San Juan .

In the City of Buenos Aires, the second most affected territory by the pandemic after the Province, the focus was in the last hours on the most vulnerable neighborhoods, where 365 infected and six died are counted.
