(ANSA) - BUENOS AIRES, MAY 7 - The coronavirus pandemic is spreading in Latin America. The region has exceeded 300 confirmed milacases, including over 16 thousand deaths, with approximately 45 thousand positive detected in less than 72 hours. This is what emerges from a statistic elaborated by ANSA concerning 34 Latin American eterritorial nations.
    According to the count, there are 300,389 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the area, with 16,348 deaths. On May 4 there were about 255 thousand cases of contagion.
    Brazil confirms itself as the country in the area with the largest number of cases detected and deaths, respectively at 125,096 and 8,535.
