The French can again request the services of the administration from May 11, but under strict conditions. Review.

Job center

The Pôle Emploi agencies will reopen from May 18 to accommodate job seekers by appointment only and in specific cases. For example, people can make an appointment to access the self-service kiosks to register or update as a job seeker. Or for an exchange deemed " essential " with an advisor. Note that reception without an appointment will nevertheless be possible but " limited to emergency situations, in particular on subjects related to the compensation of job seekers ", specifies the public establishment. In addition, "all the employees present will be equipped with masksand hydroalcoholic gel. The reception staff will have visors and the individual maintenance offices will be fitted with Plexiglas dividers. We don't want to take any risks, ” said the director general of Pôle Emploi, Jean Bassères, in an interview with Le Figaro.

Tax centers

In the middle of an income tax declaration campaign, the tax centers will also be open by appointment only. " For a large part of taxpayers, questions can be answered by telephone or messaging, which we continue to favor ", explains the director general of public finances, Jérôme Fournel. The physical meetings could be organized " in the case of complex family situations or even when the tax situations are very complicated ", specifies the director general. In order to ensure the smooth running of the declaration campaign, the tax administration has reinforced the service in charge of this campaign by mobilizing agents from other services. We have thousands of agents involved in the campaign. We are confident in our ability to carry out this campaign under these conditions, ”says Jérôme Fournel.

CNAV

At the National Old Age Insurance Fund (CNAV) too, there is no question of resuming normal activity. The public will be able to go to an agency only by appointment in case of emergency and if the exchange cannot be carried out by telephone or videoconference. " This is a very partial reopening ," explains the director general of CNAV, Renaud Villard. " We are going to bring back around 8% to 10% of the employees on site and this percentage will build up very gradually ", specifies the managing director. Plexiglas partitions, hydroalcoholic gels, masks…. Agencies must be equipped. There will also be local adaptation depending on the territory and the health situation. " It will obviously be stricter in the red zones, " says Renaud Villard.

CNAF

For family allowance funds (CAF), exchanges between beneficiaries and agents via emails, online accounts and the telephone will remain the standard for communicating with the public. In specific cases, for the most fragile people or whose files are complex, physical meetings will be organized if necessary. " We are in a very pragmatic and progressive approach, CAF by CAF depending on the situations of each other [configuration of premises, health situation on the territory, note] ", explains the National Family Allowance Fund (CNAF).
