(ANSA) - BUENOS AIRES, MAY 11 - New acceleration today of the coronavirus pandemic in Latin America, where in less than 24 hours the infections have increased by 18,000 units, reaching 361,593, while 1,300 deaths have been added for a total of 20,149. This is what emerges from a statistic elaborated by ANSA for 34 Latin American countries and territories. Despite the absence of today's data that still concern him, Brazil remains the most affected country with 155,939 infected and 10,627 dead, followed by Peru (67,307 and 1,889) and Ecuador (29,559 and 2,127). In the ranking with more than 5,000 infections, Mexico is therefore positioned with a high number of deaths compared to those infected (33,460 and 3,353), Chile (28,866 and 312), Colombia (10,4951 and 445), the Dominican Republic (10,347 and 388), Panama (8,282 and 237) and Argentina (5,776 and 300).
