Center-right governors: 'Certainties or reopen by ourselves. Inail lines are available by Wednesday '. Boccia: 'New phase, but we won't start again without security protocols'. Toti: 'With full autonomy to territories'. Viminale: 'Saturday 2,100 sanctions, slightly increasing' (ANSA)

The debate between the Government and the Conference of the Regions will be convened on Monday to clarify the hypothesis of reopening from 18 May. This was announced by President Stefano Bonaccini, explaining that he had shared it with the Minister for Regional Affairs Francesco Boccia, after receiving "from many regional presidents the request to be sure that from 18 May they can reopen the businesses and commercial activities closed today, obviously based on the epidemiological trend and compliance with shared safety protocols ".

"Sharing the spirit of the request and the need to have clarity, also in order to be able to give the due information in time, I shared with the Minister for Regional Affairs Francesco Boccia that tomorrow the debate between the Government and the Conference of the Regions will be convened", says Bonaccini .

The governors of Abruzzo, Calabria, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Liguria, Lombardy, Molise, Piedmont, Sardinia, Umbria, Veneto and the president of the Autonomous Province of Trento wrote to the President of the Conference of the Regions urging him "to urgently convene a meeting for tomorrow with the Government in order to have absolute certainty that the INAIL lines for reopening are available by Wednesday and that from 18 May each territory can allow the restart. A prospect that, if not followed, will lead to act autonomously ".

"From 18 there will be a new phase, which will lead to territorial differentiation," said Minister Francesco Boccia at TG2. "We are working to restart this territorial differentiation from 18 May - he adds -: they will be able to reopen most of the economic activities", but "we cannot restart activities without security protocols".

"I heard the Minister of Regional Affairs Francesco Boccia this morning. We are working with all the governors so that the country can really start again from May 18th. From that date on, all shops, hairdressers and beauticians, bars and restaurants and everything else will reopen. The Minister confirmed to me that it is the intention of the Government to give the territories full autonomy from that moment on regarding their choices, obviously following carefully the epidemic data, fortunately in constant decline ". The president of Liguria Giovanni Toti writes on Fb. Therefore today we will issue an ordinance that will allow everyone to better prepare for the openings of the 18th and we will work to ensure the full recovery of the economy together with worker safety, hoping that the Inail guidelines will be issued as soon as possible and that they contain enforceable rules, because the 4 linear meters between the restaurant tables that someone anticipated as an indiscretion would be inapplicable for most of the businesses ".

There was no boom in complaints on the first Saturday of Phase 2. According to the data of the Interior Ministry, there were 2,112 offenders sanctioned by the police yesterday: 2,081 for failure to comply with the travel bans, 21 for false claims, 10 for violated quarantine. 1,996 were reported yesterday. The citizens controlled were 162,299. 53,643 businesses were also monitored: 178 owners were sanctioned, closure was ordered for 20 businesses.
