Corona eruption in a nursing home in Bnei Brak | Israel today

The Ministry of Health noted that data from nursing homes around the world found that about half of corona patients in nursing homes were without symptoms, so it is recommended to initiate tests in this population.

According to Health Ministry data, as of last week, there are 140 geriatric institutions where Corona patients have been diagnosed. Of the contractors, 590 are tenants and 226 are staff. Last week, 106 people died in nursing homes.

In the meantime, a corona eruption was also reported in Maccabi dormitories in Tel Hashomer: 11 patients and four employees were diagnosed as blue. In accordance with the Ministry of Health's instructions, patients were transferred to the Corona Department at the Bat Yam Rehabilitation Center. The diagnosed workers went into solitary confinement at home.

Maccabi Dormitories said they were "implementing the Ministry of Health's guidelines and in full coordination with Sheba Hospital and taking all necessary preventive and isolation actions to continue providing optimal medical and nursing care, while protecting patients and staff."
