From the Argentine Federation of Associations of Travel and Tourism Companies (FAEVYT) they announced the postponement of the departures of travel of graduates scheduled for June, July and August.
“ Student tourism is synonymous with safe travel , since it has a law that protects tourists from ever losing that benefit, but this year we are facing new challenges that we must address for the safety of all passengers. As has happened on other occasions, it has been decided to postpone the departures scheduled for the months of June, July and August , until there are the essential requirements to confirm the suspended departures, "said Adrián Manzotti, member of the commission of Student Tourism of the Argentine Federation of Associations of Travel and Tourism Companies (FAEVYT), and added:“We consider that student trips can only be carried out gradually starting from a logical time of between 15 and 30 days after the start of face-to-face classes , so we will be attentive to that point to work on the reprogramming of the trips. currently postponed ”.
The requirements to proceed with the reprogramming are: obtain the approval of the Ministry of Health so that the contingents can move and have the necessary protocols to protect the safety of all passengers (in destinations, hotels, transport, excursions, and night outings) .
Among the proposals made to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Federation proposed that the possibility be evaluated, together with the Ministry of Education, of having a minimum of 5 excused absences, within the 2020 school year, so that students can make the different study trips and / or graduates.
