Hospital: the Covid bonus of 1,500 euros distributed in 40 departments

The departments concerned are mainly those of the north and east of the country, said the Ministry of Health.


Hospital staff from 40 departments will receive the maximum amount of the bonus promised by the government as a reward for their efforts during the coronavirus epidemic, or 1,500 euros net, the ministry of health told AFP on Wednesday.

These departments are essentially those of the north and east of the country, where the regions hardest hit by the Covid-19 are located. All those from Île-de-France (8 departments), Grand Est (10), Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (8) and Hauts de France (5) are thus included in the list. Four departments of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (Drôme, Loire, Rhône, Haute-Savoie) are also included, as well as Eure-et-Loir, Bouches-du-Rhône, the two departments of Corsica and Mayotte.

Pay rules for May or June

The Prime Minister, Edouard Philippe, and the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, announced in mid-April a bonus of 1,500 euros “net of everything” - without contributions or taxes - for hospital staff “ in the departments most affected "
