The American broadcaster USA Network recently announced that "Dare Me" will be discontinued after only one season. The news comes as a surprise after the reviews of the series were mostly positive . For the broadcaster, however, another factor was in the foreground: USA Network now only wants to broadcast reality TV series and is therefore selling a large number of fictional productions.
As Express reports, however, there is still hope: Netflix could step in and take over the series as an in-house production. This scenario is not unlikely, because the streaming service has already saved productions like "Lucifer" * from being canceled early.
