Jennifer Lopez recalled the scene where she stars in an epic slap with Jane Fonda in "Monster in Law", 15 years after its premiere.


During this quarantine, Jennifer Lopez has posted epic moments from her acting career through her Instagram account.

Last April, the also singer shared with her more than 120 million followers one of the most ardent scenes that she starred with Richard Gere , in the film "Shall We Dance?".

This time, "La Diva del Bronx" turned to the networks to remember the premiere of the comedy "Monster In Law", which starred alongside the renowned actress Jane Fonda .

The film, which turns 15 today since its premiere, is one of the films that JLo remembers in a very peculiar way, specifically for an epic moment that was immortalized along with the 82-year-old actress.

In the 2006 film  , Lopez starred in a fun scene with Fonda who at the time gave a lot to talk about due to the exchange of slaps that both give each other. The scene surprised due to the realism of both actresses, whose characters are loathed on screen.

It was in the middle of last year that the "Hustlers" actress shared a video on her YouTube account in which she recounted the behind the scenes scene that fascinated many.

"There are always one or two scenes that stand out the most and people always ask you about her countless times and when you go to promote the film, you talk about them, but never in such a profound way," said the actress in her video channel.

The famous one pointed out that working with Jane Fonda was one of the best moments of her career, since she considers the actress one of the most powerful women who has a very strong presence.  

The actress of Puerto Rican origin described the moments she lived when recording that part of the tape and assured that it was not as she had planned.

"During this scene, she and I are arguing," JLo said as she viewed the scene and tried to describe it. "Jesus! She was really into the scene and so was I, so I hit her in the eye by mistake." "There, ouch!", he added while he could not contain his laughter at his professional performance.

Jennifer also recalled that before taking the fun shot, both she and Jane agreed to hit each other until the part was done right.
