Molières 2020: Michalik, “La Mouche”, Nora Hamzawi… the full list of nominations

The 32nd Molières ceremony will be broadcast on June 23 in prime time on France 2. Here is the list of nominees.


The transport strikes, then the coronavirus ... The season has been terrible for the theater, stopped since the pandemic. Producer Jean-Marc Dumontet, president of the Molières ceremony since 2013, announces the continuation of this 32nd edition. Scheduled initially on May 11, it will finally be broadcast on June 23 on France 2 in prime-time, but without audience. Nearly 1,000 people voted for this 2020 vintage despite the confinement. Among the nominees, there are some regulars from selections such as Alexis Michalik (4 nominations) whose play "A Love Story" had just started or Joël Pommerat (3 nominations).

In the public theater, a duel between the "Mouche" at the Bouffes du Nord is announced, winning 6 nominations, "Electre des bas-fonds" at the Théâtre du Soleil (5 nominations), the jubilant "La puce à l'oreille" at the French Comedy (4 nominations) and the very successful "Contes et légendes" by Joël Pommerat (3 nominations) at the Amandiers de Nanterre.

In the private sector, the play “Marie des Poules”, wonderfully interpreted by Béatrice Agenin (4 nominations), faces “Rouge” at the Petit-Montparnasse theater, “Une Histoire d'amour” by Alexis Michalik at the La Scala theater and “ Les Beaux ”with a text as funny as punchy, at the Petit Saint-Martin theater.

Also note that in the humor category, Alex Lutz is appointed to three female humorists: Muriel Robin, Nora Hamzawi and Bérengère Krief.
