(ANSAmed) - SOFIA, MAY 19 - The daily increase in people infected by Covid-19 remains stable in Bulgaria: 24 new cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours (16 in the capital Sofia, 10 hospitalized). The total balance of the infections thus rises to 2,259 (+ 1.1% compared to the previous day). As the authorities report, there are two new deaths, for a total of 112 victims (66.5 the average age).
The toll on the medical staff is 242. A total of 299 patients are hospitalized, 36 of whom are in intensive care. There is a gradual opening of economic and commercial activities in the country.
